LYDIA HOME
Lydia Home is a faith-based organization in the Old Irving Park neighborhood that provides care and support for children in foster care. Working closely with DCFS, their home serves around 80 kids, ages 6–17, offering both housing and programs that nurture stability and growth. Through our partnership, we hope to bring activities, joy, community, and consistency to these children—reminding them that they are deeply valued and not alone.

BRIDGING THE GAP.
Coming together to support foster children in need.
PARTNERSHIP
Volunteer
We want to help give the kids at Lydia Home a piece of childhood, creating and hosting activities during the week so they can experience joy and connection, regardless of their circumstances.
Prayer
An easy way to get involved is through prayer—pray for the children navigating the foster care system and for the volunteers who show them the love of Jesus.

GET INVOLVED
As our partnership with Lydia Home grows, we hope to build a group of approved volunteers who can help bring joy and consistency to the children’s lives. Volunteers may assist with activities, support special events, and even help host an event at Awaken in the future!
